KDE Partition Manager greyed out UUID mount path

I have 2 nvme drives with an 1 TB root and a second 2 TB I’m running cachyos Plasma and i am trying to mount the second drive but the UUID is greyed out and from what I read is that you need the UUID option for automount at start up could anyone helpen me out?

There is no partition yet, so it can’t be mounted because there is no UUID.

Maybe I don’t understand but it says that I already made a partition?

You have to create the partition first. Click “apply”, then you can modify the mount point.

Like this? click ok here?

Ok and then Apply

Alright now I have this can I now mount it?

Dude, you have to click on Apply.

I see it now mb

I’m guessing these are the right option?

Thank you for the documentation I still can seem to figure out when I mount my drive in mnt that I can not add any files to it or creat any folders
