Issue with overwatch and shadercache! (Steam,Gaming)

Im using cachy for about 2 months and it has been smooth sailing.
Ever since i updated to kernel 7.0 a couple of days ago, my shadercache never persists anymore.
Example, in Overwatch, ill wait 10-20 minutes in practice, and the shadercache watermark on the bottom disappears. Then its safe to play without stutters.

HOWEVER once i close the game it starts compiling shaders from 0% again on a new start.
This didnt use to happen before the kernel update.
Ive tried every possible fix there is out there, like increasing NVIDIA cache size to 12gb, enable or disabling steam pre-cacheing, im honestly out of options. Please help!

Yes ive also tried __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEANUP=1, it does nothing!

I’ve noticed that the /.cache/nvidia folders builds up to 2gb when playing, and then resets to 0 upon closing.

CachyOS
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 (12) @ 4.46 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER [Discrete]
Memory: 11.72 GiB

Fixed it. It seems that updating cachy for whatever reason made my Steam games try to read the cache from the /.cache folder, not from the steamapps folder. How i fixed it:

Reinstalled GPU drivers by CachyOS wiki tutorial.
Increased maximum shader cache size per CachyOS wiki.
Deleted steamapps/common/shader/overwatchid
Disabled steam pre processing and background shaders.

Shaders are persistent on Nvidia cache folder now.
