I was looking to install the bore version of the kernel and have been running into issues with nvidia kernel modules. The stock cachy kernel installs and updates perfectly fine, nvidia-smi gives proper output and all that. Pacman output is below.

Edit: the kernel manager also doesnt seem to work, clicking execute opens terminal and prompts a password, but doesnt do anything.
I have almost the Exact same output tonight on my Asus ROG with nVidia card with trying to install. Only line that is different is I don’t have the 10-chwd-KMS.conf line.
sudo pacman -Syu linux-cachyos-hardened
I just did this the other day on my Dell Latitude 12th Gen with just Intel on there and it went fine.
Well after I figured out that I didn’t need to do a custom build that is
Well heck, maybe on this one I do. But I’m sure it’ll still give me all these nVidia errors. Or is that a way to get around them (another topic).
Numerous people must run into this. I have been doing a fair amount of searching and really haven’t seen anything definitive. But I know this screen grab is 100%.
Thanks.
Interesting that its not just limited to the one kernel. I’ll try again and see if i can get any more logs/info but for now it just seems like a broken package.
Really wish i could get this fixed though as the bore scheduler is a big reason i swapped to cachy off of artix.
Edit: Still having this issue as of trying to install the kernel today. Have been able to update the stock and LTS kernel fine and even build nvidia modules on them so im unsure why it doesnt work with others. Would be great if this could be fix, or if there is a fix out there already.
I forgot to mention, it was about 215am or so when I posted IIRC. I do have regular CachyOS kernel ( cachyos-v3/linux-cachyos ) and CachyOS-LTS ( cachyos-v3/linux-cachyos-lts ) from CachyOS Kernel Manager on Both my Dell Latitude 12th Gen on board Intel only since inception and my Asus ROG 12th Gen with nVidia since inception.
I did go to the CachyOS troubleshooting wiki and ran the mirror cmd’s to see if maybe a mirror near me was giving me issues before I tried again. Well first I -R hardened and rebooted and then tried again. Same errors.
