Is wayland preferred over X11 in CachyOS?

Deskflow and synergy clipboard sharing feature is not compatible with wayland, disappointing I wanted to try hyprland.

Yeah Iā€™m using deskflow now and I was able to solve the clipboard sharing issue on wayland using KDE Connect on both machines!

Brodie recently made a video on why some people still use/need X11 - and itā€™s not flame-bait! There are some interesting use-cases.

I am sorry to hear that. For me, I do not have an issue like that.

He pretty much explains many cases to a degree, though Iā€™m more on the side that we shouldnā€™t have multiple protocols for one protocol, which XOrg and XLibre donā€™t do. Thatā€™s just how I see it.
