Is this not one of the weirdest dependency issues you've ever seen while running updates? I could use some help, please. It only happens when trying to run paru or yay, but not sudo pacman -Syu

In the future…please share this sort of thing when starting the thread. It’s a lot easier to figure out what’s broken when you post what you did to create your current broken configuration.

Thanks so much for helping me yesterday. It did fix my issue. For some reason, I could not find that in the Wiki. It said that I sent too many messages as a new user yesterday, so I had to wait until today to reply.

If you use normal cachy tooling and supported processes you never end up in a situation remotely like that. Cachy does have a tool to add their repos to a generic arch install
