The last update was nearly a year ago, and the latest issue was fixed in July this year according to GitHub. Since then, nothing has happened. I can no longer start either the Ubisoft or the EA app. The major problem I have had since I started using Lutron in August is that the app appears in Arabic until I try to connect it to Lutris. This has never been fixed but it is existing since last year. Is there an alternative to Lutris? I am considering installing EA App and Ubisoft using Proton Tricks now.
I installed the ‘lutris-git’ version, which is 0.5.20. Which of these sources should I use? I was using the gaming package installation process provided by CachyOS. This installs Lutris from ‘extra’, but not the version from CachyOS. Can anyone recommend anything?
Update 2:
I noticed that Wine-ge-8-26 was the default Wine version. However, it is outdated as far as I know. I changed to the second option, ‘wine-10-16-staging-amd64-wow64’, and now I can open Ubisoft again. However, the EA app is still not working. I tried to reinstall it, but encountered an error. Should I install any version preferred?
Update3:
I have exactly the same problem:
" ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘find’"
A workaround can be found at the end, but I have not tried it. Have no Game installed, just whats the app to run.
Update4:
Now I was able to install EA-App without problems and can run it.
For that I used a wine version.
With any version of proton it is not able to install EA-App.
But I can still not connect Lutris with the App.
