Hey everyone, I was playing titanfall 2 (launched from the EA app running thru heroic) and I had music, a clipping tool, discord and steam running in the background
Sometimes the game will freeze whilst in a match and quit me to desktop, where I get the error: “xwayland has crashed” when I return to the desktop only one of those apps stays open, typically the music app.
I thought it might be mesa 26, so I downgraded to mess 25.3.5 (or the latest mesa version) still no avail. Steam doesn’t even launch, it looks for glx or something and searches for Mesa 26.
Whilst it doesn’t immediately crash when launching, it only happens whilst in matches. I never had this issue before. Even on other distros. I have also noticed that performance seems to be worse on titanfall. I dip into low 70s now instead of a stable 144 or 130fps
Looks like I’m stuck here.
