I have COS on 3 of my computers and I am very satisfied!!
I also have 12 year old mbp 11,1 with intel gpu. Was wondering about installing COS on that. Can such an old computer handle COS?
Are there any special things I should think about? Endeavour is installed on it now and works fine but I am about to reinstall anyway because I need to change partitioning.

Keeping an eye on this, 'cause I got a 2020 Intel Macbook pro and I was wondering the same thing, if CachyOS could be installed on that. It’s something about a T2 chip or whatnots?
No. 2020 and T2 chip is a very different thing! The thing I know is that for a long time Linux was almost impossible to install on a T chip. How it is today I do not know so much about, sorry.
My old mbp (12 years) may be too old to install COS on. I will probably give it a try.
