Anyone tried installing handheld CachyOS edition on iPad or iPhone (with success)?
Well no, and there is like zero change it would work.
iPad is an ARM device with everything locked down, so first you would need to find a security hole that could be use to unlock the baseband/bootloader etc. For newer iPads (like starting from maybe 4-5 years ago, there is pretty much none of those).
After that you would need to find ARM image that would be working on the iPads, there is none of those, and ArchLinux ARM (fully unofficial at this point) is in really bad shape and doesn’t really work (its one of the reasons Asahi Linux moved from Arch base to Fedora base).
