Informations about installation with grub, btrfs and secure boot

Hi everyone. I’d like to install CachyOS on a desktop PC alongside Windows 11. CachyOS should replace another Arch-based distro, so I’ll need to manually partition the drive. I think I can manage it, but I have a few questions: I’d like to use GRUB as the boot manager, and I noticed on the page

https://wiki.cachyos.org/configuration/secure_boot_setup/

that limine and systemd-boot have specific procedures for dealing with the Secure Boot issue. Does GRUB not require anything beyond the first step listed on that page? For the root partition I’d like to use btrfs — are snapshots created automatically after updates and installs? Are snapshots accessible as entries in GRUB? I assume Windows 11 is detected by the installation process and gets its own entry in GRUB. Any advice would be appreciated?

I can’t speak about Grub vs Limine as far as Secure Boot and dual booting with Windows is concerned, because I don’t do that. As far as the BTRFS is concerned, I can confirm that the update process creates hooks that are making automatic snapshots each and every time you update your systems and, at least in Limine, these snapshots can be booted into right from the bootloader screen. To me that’s the best reason to use Limine with BTRFS. Otherwise, you’d have to log into the TTY and do a snapper restore manually if you used Grub.
