I have an ASUS TUF DASH F15, I go with CachyOS, any advice?

I’m not new to linux, i usually go with Linux Mint but for some more modern devices i go with Fedora or Arch based distro…

On my old laptop i had dual boot Windows 10/Manjaro XFCE for 5 years no issues but since i got this new one i decided to transform my old laptop (i can share my last inxi -xv8 on Manjaro) in a retro gaming console using CachyOS for the first time and see how it holds in it on this old boy (4GB RAM, 480GB HDD).

I was very surprised how it surpasses Manjaro in every ways since it worked straight way with Wayland on KDE, a thing i didn’t achieve to do in any other distro (always crashed or bugged)…
I installed Windows 11 on this new laptop because i need it right way to work and did not have the time to research or test distros in it but man… i had to relive the reason why i left Windows in the first place: Copilot everywhere, i do not feel safe mostly because i share thumb USBs with my co-workers and i had bad experiences in the past with that (spreading malware and viruses) and since i game in it also, some specicfic Windows update (i think it was the April one) had some issues (people complained about this) dropped my FPS on CS2 in half, HALF (300~280 to 160~120).

So now i’m in vacation (gonna take my laptop with me) and i’m gonna spent it on a house in a beach getting rid of Windows and set up CachyOS while i’m at it…

So any advice about it?

Btw already researched a bit in https://asus-linux.org but any other tips or advice is more than welcome!
