How to make Text less blurry in Light Mode KDE Plasma

The Text looked blurry and grey to me and after some digging. I found out that the text color was set to dark grey. The Global Desktop Theme and Color Theme define the color of your Fonts. I use Breeze Light.

How to improve Text:

1. Set the Sub-pixel rendering to your Monitors Pixel Matrix
2. Change the Hinting to your liking
3. If you want change the Font

3. Go to the Colors and click on the Pen

   

4. Change all the Text Colors to black:

[cscs]

Yes, some themes have poor contrast.

This can be more or less tolerable by different hardware or eyes.

(And its also not restricted to fonts.)

In the name of hints I might mention that, somewhat unintuitively, in reality ‘full’ hinting often produces undesirable results.
