How to install minecraft on Cachyos

how to install minecraft on Cachyos ??

paru minecraft-launcher
choose 1 (the official one)

Il you want to choose another launcher:

paru minecraft
Choose between many launchers

or the old school way:

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/minecraft-launcher.git
cd minecraft-launcher
makepkg -si

use Prism launcher
CachyOS Package Installer > Repo > prismlauncher

+1 for prism launcher, so much less of a headache than the official launcher (assuming you’re only interested in minecraft java, not bedrock edititon)

I use mcpelauncher. Welcome to Minecraft Bedrock Launcher’s documentation! — Minecraft Bedrock Launcher documentation
Android version

Real especially if you wanna use A custom Jre Version Or Mod the Game.

Idk if I am hijacking this thread or should have started a new one.
Please tell me where to post if this is wrong,
but I just switched from base Arch to Cachy and am having issues with prism-Launcher that I didn’t have on base arch.
Anyone have an idea?

“Processor failed, invalid outputs:

this seems to be the issue? But I don’t know how to fix it.

This is not exactly what you are looking for.
I bought the Android version and use this one via Welcome to Minecraft Bedrock Launcher’s documentation! — Minecraft Bedrock Launcher documentation

i have exactly the same issue. my friend on base arch linux using it with no problems and i cannot start it at cachyos. this is odd, cachyos is arch too.
is there any solution for that ?

The Solution That Helped Me: “sudo pacman -S zlib lib32-zlib”

This worked for me

This works!! But every single time I would do a system upgrade, it would prompt me again to replace them with the cachyos ones, how can I circumvent this?
