hello, nice to meet u all, so… im new with cachyos i come from ubuntu my current problem is, im trying to set up my hotspot my version is KDE plasma and my cellphone is android though the phone is actually able to see the wifi hotspot is unable to actually connect to it i already try to make another port but it doesnt give IP to my phone, and the normal port just doesnt make the conection, i already turn off the firewall but turned back on since i dont have the hotspot running and i need it since i get into my work conection too, can u guys help me and sorry for my bad english is not my first languaje
I’m having the same issue (I have tried disabling the firewall using sudo ufw disable) where my android phone refuses connect. My phone gets stuck on the step of connecting where it says “Scanning…”. I’m thinking it’s a DHCP issue but I don’t actually know anything about networking.
