Hibernation mode doesn't hibernate

Hello Everyone!

I use CachyOS GNOME with systemd bootloader. I use 16 GB RAM laptop with 32 GB swap partition. I don’t have any other OS installed in this laptop. If i use,

systemctl hibernate

The laptop gets turned off but if I turn it on again, it doesn’t resume where I left. Instead, it starts a new session as if I didn’t hibernate.

I don’t know how to overcome this issue. Someone kindly help me… :slightly_smiling_face:

hi,
did you configure the initramfs ?

I’m sorry, but what does it mean?

may be this archwiki article is helpful

Yeah Sir, just now I checked that article. My initramfs was already configured.
