Hello everybody!
First time on Arch but have previously been on Ubintu, Fedora and OpenSUSE for the most part. Old Gnome 2 user been trapped in winslop for far too long.
Good to be back in Linux and excited to try out CachyOS! Loving it a lot!
That’s awesome! I used Ubuntu a long time ago as my first linux. Had to stay on windows though at the time, maybe 15 years ago.
Now I have cachy as my main machine’s OS, windows is there just in case some future work requires window for some weird reason.
And ubuntu as a home server.
There is much more room for improvement but it feels awesome!
Not being with microsoft is huge though.
Yeah, it’s great not to be reliant on Windows. I just boot in for my weekly WoW Classic raid. Amazing to see how far Linux has come. Yay screen independent virtual desktops!!! 
Cool! Haven’t use the virtual desktops yet. I’ll give them a try soon enough.
