Thought I already introduced myself, maybe not, let’s get on with it.

I’m 59 from Italy, fell in love with Linux since Mandrake late 1990s, then made “just a few” distrohops between Mandrake, RedHat, Slackware, Ubuntu, Sabayon, Gentoo, Suse, Manjaro, then ArcoLinux

One day I read about Erik Dubois (Arco mantainer) announcing retirement for a better life, and I saw CachyOS stuff pushed into the repos and “hey what is that”

I saw the light.

Long live CachyOS! We all deserve this project to be alive at least for another 8 years (when I plan to retire :smiley: )

For many CachyOS is what EndevourOS was supposed too be. So lets hope it outlasts the 8 year timeframe you gave it, because of yourself :melting_face:

Fun fact: I recently purchased a Slimbook Evo 14 with AMD AI 365 processor, asked to ship it with EndeavourOS, booted it once just to see the notebook working, then it was pwned by Cachy.
