HDR calibration - Amount of nits reported not correct

When i use the HDR calibration in Plasma KDE the logo dissapears at 300 nits, while the screen i am using (An LG Oled G1) should be around 800 nits. This happened after switching to a AMD RX9070 XT, and a clean install.

Before this i used a Nvidia RTX 4080, where i could set the HDR calibration on the right amount of nits before the logo dissapeared.

Do i need to configure something for the AMD GPU to get the correct amount of nits using HDR?

I’m running into the same issue. Have you found a solution? I can’t find anything. Happens on other distros as well.

Same issue with a LG C5 and a 9060xt

It clips at 300 nits when it should clip at 800
