hi, Is this something I should do ?

some games need this on AMD CPU

but I ve no /etc/default/grub ??

Hogwarts Legacy needs it

But I ve a /etc/default/grub-steamos with a classic CMD_LINE_BLA_BLA variable with a comment: needed by jupiter

So where can I put this variable ? In the kernel manager ?

It definitely does not. Maybe it was needed in the past but no need now.

I don’t know what that is or where it came from.

So I’ve added the clearcpuid=514 and Hogwarts Legacy is now playing with proton hotfix (and VC redist)

Other games are ok too

So far so good
