Graphical glitches and freezes on DE and game UI

I am having issues with my OS recently. I had to do a reinstall due to a corruption issue and since then i have been having freezes on the task bar for KDE plasma. It will basically freeze up for a few seconds randomly, but will still register all my clicks, so if i click on any of my open apps, nothing will happening initially and then it will send all the clicks at once. While this is happening if i go to the top right, i can still minimise/maximise and close the app normally

I also see this same kind of slow down when i am trying to play Football manager and Arma 3 were the UI will freeze, but again if i move my mouse over the correct place and click, it will then register all of those clicks correctly and open the menus you would expect.There is also a white line flashing across the top and bottom of the screen periodically.

I didnt have any of these issues before my OS corrupted and i have reinstalled multiple times since. I havent been able to pinpoint anything down, but it must be something with the graphics setup since pretty much everything else bar my wireless mouse not working correctly in wireless mode is fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If there was a video, it could help everyone understand it better. But I think because this is something that happens randomly, you weren’t able capture it.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the solution for what I understood. By the way, have you tried any other desktop environments like GNOME or Xfce?

I’ve tried XFCE there and it appears to have stopped glitching with the DE. Havent seen it freeze or the white artefacting yet.
I am still having issues with FM24 doing the same, but weirdly FM18 works with no issues. Not tested Arma yet to see if thats still wonky

Spoke too soon, got the freeze mere seconds after posting that. So its still there, but doesnt seem to be as bad with XFCE
