Oh cool, didn t know it was out already @indy
Looks great.
Hey @altman ! The good news is, I don’t see much of a difference.
Lol, it might be going more into the background, never know.
https://foundation.gnome.org/2024/09/18/introducing-gnome-47/
well nice to see it working on fedora and openSUSE it is so broken that need to reinstall and then not use nvidia drivers…
each time installing nvidia drivers nothing works no terminal 95% apps wont open due protocol error 77 etc and snapshots not working
spend 2 days in Fedora 41 beta to test and seems like QA has failed terrible since it is just unusable most of users even on amd abd now it is lufted out of beta to RC build
Beta is always beta, and gnome 47 is now already released. It might be that the Fedora 41 beta is not yet using the newest packages.
Fedora also does some own changes to gnome and those are usually not fully tested on the betas, atleast not on the first ones.
yeah beta i understand but on this stage not RC aka Release Candidate… also betas should be more stable the product is on alpha stage at this time
F40 beta was much better
