Game crash SteamThinkerLaunch→MO2

Hello,
I’ve been having a lot of game crashes lately, and I’m really struggling with it.
Operating System: CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.26.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.0.10-1-cachyos (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-11700 @ 2.50GHz
Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (31.0 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor 1: Intel® Arc
Graphics Processor 2: Intel® Graphics
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Product Name: XPS 8940
I’m using the latest versions of both Proton and Mesa.
I’m playing Skyrim AE on MO2 using SteamThinkerLaunch.
For the past 2–3 days, I’ve been experiencing random CTDs,
and now the crash logger doesn’t even appear anymore.
I haven’t changed the game or mod configuration.
Everything was working fine until a few days ago, but now I’m getting a lot of stack traces.
My current Steam launch options are:
LC_ALL=C vblank_mode=3 WINEDLLOVERRIDES=“dxgi=n,b” PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_FSYNC=1 PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=50 MANGOHUD_CONFIG=“position=top-right,fps,font_size=14, fps_limit=60” mangohud %command%
I’m not sure if a recent update introduced some extra issues, but
please let me know if you find out anything.

I’m posting this using DeepL.

Update
Issues such as the new installation not opening from the MO2 archive
and the in-game console not working (Japanese)
have also been reported.

Man, you are wrestling with way too many wrappers (Steam + SteamTinkerLaunch + MO2 + conflicting env vars). Since you are on CachyOS, you should try keeping it native, lightweight, and clean.

I recently built a native, ultra-lightweight Wine commander called Thatch precisely to avoid this kind of bloated configuration headache. It creates optimized, isolated prefixes natively, gives you a clean settings panel, and generates a simple, editable Bash script to run your games.

You could literally install Skyrim/MO2 in a clean Thatch ‘Chest’, set your Japanese locale, inject your dxgi DLL overrides visually, and launch it directly with 0% CPU overhead. Give it a look: https://github.com/esfingex/thatch

I gave Thatch a try.
I think I managed to set it up correctly up to a point.
MO2 launched as well.
However, SKSE wouldn’t start.
I tried all sorts of things, but I couldn’t figure it out, so
I went back to playing the game using the original STL->MO2 setup.
Thank you for your help.

send me error log
