Function keys not working

Fresh install of Cachyos. I have a custom wireless keyboard that all Linux installs recognize as an apple keyboard, so then the function keys won’t work properly. In the past I have been able to fix this by following this website: Getting the function keys to work properly with a Varmilo keyboard - Fedora Discussion

However, on this new install it’s not working. Anyone have any ideas?

For anyone that’s wondering I was able to fix this. I read the Arch Wiki page on Apple fnmode. I had the right file created, but I had to add a link to it in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and then regenerate initramfs. All is good now!
