FSR 4.1.0 with Vanilla Wine on RDNA3: Yes, it actually works

The FSR4 4.1.0 Saga continues.

You can now extract the new FSR4 4.1.0 upgrade DLL from the official 26.3.1 Windows 11 driver. Why AMD removed it from the amdxcffx64.dll archive page is beyond me.

Anyways, the 26.3.1 driver package contains two amdxcffx64.dll files, the one you want is 51.5 MB (50 MiB) and is located in the B025836 directory.

The DLL from reddit is the same as the one included in the 26.3.1 driver release, so no need to download it again, but if you want to check file integrity, here’s the sha256sum:

And Intel also released a new v101.8626 Windows 11 driver:

Notice how Intel tries to be clever and rename some of the XeSS DLLs. And comparing with the XeSS SDK 3.0.0, these are all older versions, but the igxess.dll does seem to be used by some games like The Witcher 3, so you can use this DLL to update any games that use it. This also shows that “new” drivers don’t actually provide the latest versions of each vendor’s upscaling DLLs–as this driver is “newer” than the XeSS SDK 3.0.0.
