So on steam I tried launching FH5 using cachyos proton or any other version (proton experimental, hotfix…) and usually it worked normally, but after one random day it just decided to not launch/crash on launch.
I click the green play button, it says launching and then it never launches and the green play button returns. But when I use Proton-GE 10-30 or 10-34 (these are the ones I installed using protonup-qt) it shows the little splash screen that forza has and it launches the game normally.
This same thing happened with marvel’s spiderman and forza horizon 6.
The only thing that would launch it was adding PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% to the launch options but then i get greeted with the error that my graphics card isnt supported.
I’ve searched everywhere for this problem but was unable to find a solution.
