Davinci Resolve no GPU

Davinci Resolve worked yesterday without any problems, but today I get an error saying “Unsupported GPU Processing Mode. Please review the GPU drivers and GPU configuration under Preferences.”

I have checked and there is no driver to select.

I did find someone with the same problem who was on an arch distro, and they were told that the problem is that the AMDGPU Pro was not installed. So I found the right driver and installed it, but still no luck.

My GPU is the AMD Radeon 7900XTX.

Can you try to install “hip-runtime-amd”?

I dont think you need to install amdvlk - you should also remove it.

Check if:
opencl-clover-mesa and lib32-opencl-clover-mesa are installed.
Also, check if “opencl-rusticl-mesa” is installed, if yes try to remove it.

It seems opencl-clover-mesa and lib32-opencl-clover-mesa were missing so I installed them and now DV works.
