CVE-2026-31431: Copy Fail

Hello Community,
Recently I came across a article stating how AI found a 0 day vulnerability called The Copy Fail vulnerability.
It mostly affected Ubuntu based system but it was found in linux kernel crypto-subsystem I wanted to has this bug impacted Arch Systems?
As per the article the bug has been patched and considering Arch rolling release I guess once users update their system they will be fine.

This incident just proves no matter what software without bug is impossible to write :slight_smile:

it effects everything Linux that uses the kernel.

cachy/arch were one of the first yo get the patch out to users (cachy users with up to date kernel are all good).

distros that are slower movers are the issue but when I last checked, all major distros had kernels updates or backport fixes for their kernels already.
