I have a question (and there’s no wrong answer),
I am tracking cosmic-git on another distro and compiling it locally.
Though my daily driver at the moment is indeed cachy, and with new features being enabled (like focus follows cursor) which I see on the other installation, I wondered what the plan was with updates to Cosmic on Cachy. Do you plan to at intervals release updates or wait on Cosmic dev team to release a milestone pkg?
Yes, that group of packages. I really just asked to know what the plan is on Cachy.
cachy will follow arch, i suppose
I’ll take a peek maybe later today I’m the curious sort and I don’t mind running bleeding software (bleeding edge that is), as long as I have alternatives.
If i remember right the packages in cachy repo will be updated every monday. @ptr1337 can confirm
The stable packages, get updated as soon their is a new upstream release.
There are weekly cosmic-git packages available, those get compiled once a week at monday at 15:00.
Thanks for the Alpha 3 packages for Arch
Welcome Ive picked the packages at archlinux up to help the current maintainer.
ps i do multiple restarts before i was happy with the base … build packages are only on github at all
mind reset hehe
With activate you activate chroot /build enviroment
With source you download aur sources and edit them…
And with install you build local repo with install packages same with cosmic install
##kodi git not work because aur is broken ##hehe##
##simple is in mine opinion most time best
