Why when cachy rebuild packages from arch their are outdated for example wine and lot of them …why for maybe less performance mirror them as pop os do with ubuntu when u want double …why not host just own packages and aur packages for better maintance … its getting with outdated as manjaro do
For wine in particular, we’ve dropped it now from our repos. Users requested it in the past because they want a v3 optimized build of wine
(for reference, wine, wine-staging, etc are in the multilib and isn’t in our auto rebuild; we only auto rebuild packages from core and extra). Do you know of any other packages that are out of date currently?
Hello naim,
the brave browser binary is out of date…
Man, the AUR Sync is happening once a day. The AUR has been updated at 26 hrs ago, and therefore should be now updated.
I have removed the optimized wine and wine-staging, to avoid this in the future.
Updated now.
Thank you, did not want to annoy.
I did not know brave is synced from AUR.
updated…all good
