Hi, it’s been a few days that every time I refresh and upgrade CachyOS’ packages I get the following warning:
warning: cachy-browser: local (136.0.4-1) is newer than cachyos-v3 (136.0.3-1)
The strange thing is that the package I’ve installed locally comes from the official repositories and now it seems to have vanished remotely.
The sha256 of the package I’ve got locally is the following:
89e7e5419cf755c994520243f29ad91f3b60bfa981270d7c01bb8b3a87f33a12 cachy-browser-136.0.4-1-x86_64_v3.pkg.tar.zst
Is it normal?

136.0.4-1 was build two days later than 136.0.3-1
I’m not sure what is happening.

Assuming this was an intentional reversion on the part of the maintainers and/or assuming you want to become in-line with what the repositories offer .. then just add an extra u to pacman to allow downgrades. ex;
sudo pacman -Syuu
We have downgraded the package, because we faced some problems firefox 137 and therefore we downgraded it.

Thanks @ptr1337 for bringing clarity into the matter! I have wanted to let it be downgraded but I wasn’t sure what was really the issue. Now I can do it.
