Having issues pairing the Star Labs StarLite MkV with the Keychron K1 QMK Wireless Mechanical Keyboard (ISO Layout) - Version 6, which is the UK keyboard layout. The tablet doesn’t see the device at all, but works perfectly in wired mode. The keyboard doesn’t have any issue pairing to my desktop PC running Arch Linux or to my Pixel 9a running GrapheneOS. I’ve got some old Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones that connect just fine to the tablet.
I have emailed Star Labs. They claim that it is a kernel bug and that I should make my distro provider aware of it. So, here I am.
Gave it a try, but no luck. tested bluetui on the StarLite and it didn’t detect the keyboard. Tried it with my AMD Ryzen desktop, which I have switched to CachyOS recently and it immediately detected and paired with the keyboard. The desktop also picks up my Quest 2 headset and even a next door neighbour’s bluetooth device.
Hmm…can you try checking if you can see/pair the keyboard directly from the command line using bluetoothctl? This guide can help: bluetoothctl guide · GitHub
