Bluetooth issues since kernel 6.11.4-2-cachyos

Hi

I updated my system this morning which included kernel 6.11.4-2-cachyos
and since then I have not been able to connect any previously paired and working bluetooth devices to my computer.

I saw a report on the arch forums about a similar recent issue and downgrading kernel helped them. Sure enough, downgrading to 6.11.3-3-cachyos works and all devices connect straight away.

Is this a known issue? Anything I can do for now besides sticking with the older kernel?

I can’t be sure if the issue is present in earlier versions of 6.11.4. I only have the problem version cached to test. If there is a link to download older packages I will happily test.

Thank you for your time and effort. CachyOS has been an amazing experience for the last few months!

Cheers

Could you link the arch forum thread?

Yes, this is a known upstream issue, and there seems to be a fix for it already.

Ah perfect! Thank you for the info. I’ll stick with the working version for now until the fix makes it’s way through.

Cheers

Strange, I cannot see kernel 6.11.4-2 in my Kernel Manager app.

Can you please try:

Just did a quick test and bluetooth working great! Devices are connecting normally.

I only tested linux-cachyos and linux-cachyos-headers as I don’t use nvidia or zfs.

Thanks for this.
