Black screen with cursor when trying to install

Hello, I am trying to install cachyOS and when I try to boot into the LiveCD, the screen is black with a cursor. I cannot do anything further from this point.

Looking at some other topics facing the same issue, with all of them saying to reinstall, I have and I am still met with the same issue. Is there any fix or do I have to wait for another patch for this?

Which hardware do you have? Whic boot option you have selected?

CPU: AMD Athlon™ II X2 240 (2) @ 2.80 GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 4350
RAM: 6GB
A 500GB harddrive
I used the normal boot option and the nomodeset option and they both don’t work.

Never mind, I installed from the curseforge page and now it works.

I’m actually getting this same issue but from the 6.13 update. I tried last night and again a couple of hours ago but had to boot from usb and restore snapshot both times. Does anyone know what causes this kind of thing?.

I believe it was a faulty polkit update, as described here:

Everything should be fixed as of right now though.
