I’m trying to boot into the live environment but no matter what option I choose I get stuck.
Either CachyOS or the closed source drivers take me to a black screen and nothing ever happens or the third option gets me stuck at “reached target graphical interface”.
I’ve tried disabling my iGPU, TPM and secure boot but it’s still doing the exact same thing.
Also tried with Ventoy and directly on on USB stick as well
I also managed to boot no problem into any other live environment I tried such as Garuda.
Specs:
6 monitors (4 on dGPU, 2 on iGPU)
7800X3D
RTX 4070
32GB 6000MHz DDR5
2TB NVMe
Anyone got any ideas?
Did you select the nvidia option?
Does an older ISO works?
I think the problems are the too many monitors. Can you unplug the iGPU ones?
I unplugged the 2 monitors into the iGPU and disabled it in the BIOS as well.
I have tried older ISOs and am still getting the same problem.
I also tried updating my BIOS, defaulting the settings and disabling Fast Boot, TPM, CSM, Secure Boot and iGPU once again with no luck.
If I boot into legacy mode it gets stuck but I can swap tty and run chwd, it automatically finds my 4070 and tries to install the nvidia-open-dkms packages but I don’t know how to proceed from there or if I even can.
Any other Linux ISO seems to work, only the best one isn’t
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help me figure out where it’s going wrong.
