So, I just tried to install cachyos with KDE from scratch, I was previously using Gnome, I did my dotfiles setup, once I tried to restart, it gave no error on the boot loading, but before entering the login screen, it’s a black screen everytime and it requires button reboot to be able to do anything.
I have no way to know the actual error.
Anything that I can do? Maybe through the liveusb?
There are a bunch of setup from scripts, but this was even before I did anything KDE specifically, other than some global env var. The rest were linux related.
It was very stable on gnome before.
Now it’s as if the monitors are almost turned off. Probably due to some lower power state. Somewhat quickly after the blackscreen.
I do not see the login screen.
To be a bit more descriptive, when botting I see the logs running from stuff loading as I dont have splash turned on, after, I see the - sign for about a second, then it’s the black screen only.
What a waste of time this setup was.
