Automatic suspends logs out

Hi there

i’ve been trying cachyos in the last few days and there is an occurance that is frequently happening and i’m looking out for a solution. I believe it’s sort of my first time doing something like this so i would like some kind of help:

Every time the system goes idle, instead of suspending the session, it logs out and then hibernate. Sometimes the logs out happens a second after it goes idle.

This means i’m listening to music and doing something else away from keyboard and the pc just randomly stops and logs out. This means that some file i might have open just gets lost or something i have to recover everytime.
And that’s not “C ool”.

looking out for a solution

I went looking for the sleep confinguration file. Looking at the manual page i found out that the configuration is missing!

But, i’m still uncertain about this kind of things so i would like some help to figure it out or another perspective at the problem.

if you need any log or grep. please, TEACH ME the proper way to do it and what someone with more experience would like to see in a log in general and what resources i might find helpful to understand this kinds of problem. I am a bit tired of just asking anytime i have a problem with my system.

Have you checked the power management settings in KDE? assuming you’re using that of course.

I should’ve mentioned that i am on Gnome, but yes
