Audio issues persist after a CS2 crash

Long situation short. I’ve been having trouble with Counterstrike 2 audio for quite some time. It randomly stops working after 4-60s after I start the game. Until yesterday this wasn’t a big deal as it would start working after anywhere from 5-15 minutes again. So I would start the game before I would start playing. Any other audio would still work.

Yesterday I was a bit impatient and after a couple minutes I started switching audio devices. From my regular TS headset to my display audio (via HDMI).

This froze the sound application and it crashed. Upon reboot my headphones no longer show in the audio settings at all. Turns out it turned off the sound card.

Now I guess I fixed the immediate issue, but the CS2 sound issue persists. Any ideas on how I can fix them? Any Infos I’d need to supply to get help?

I have an Intel CPU and a GTX 1080
