At the end, the installation ends in failure

On the laptop, I decided to change Cachyos from KDE to Gnome. I recorded a flash drive through Windows in Rufus. At the end, the installation ends with such an error.

Outta space (clearly)…I mean it tells you? No space left on device (probably your /boot efi partition)
Clean house or make the partition bigger.

I formatted the disk, then rolled Windows, in the control of disks I created a new section under Cachyos. Then he loaded from the flash drive and began installation. Places are full of 800+.

/boot needs to be at least 1 GB as I recall current stds.

It’s reusing the 100MB EFI partition from Windows. You need to either make that partition bigger, or manually partition a new FAT32 partition for CachyOS to use.

or shrink the initramfs to the minimum

If I increase this section, will it not demolish Windows to me?
Thank you!

No, of course not. Not unless you format it of course.

Increasing the partition to 300 “meters”, MB, helped. Failed to grow existing partition… But I created a new one in the mounted directory. There is no choice of operating system. I go into Windows through the BIOS) I will demolish everything and install it again, having previously created partitions. It’s quite strange
Because he put Cachyos on their children and no problems arose. Not creating any sections, simply replaced the section. Thank you all for your help!
