Yes, just updating as normal, if you run into above issues you can just follow above.
Thank you @ptr1337 for pointing this out!
As I was not really sure where to place this question: Is there a particular monthly Release for July planned? As the last one was released on end of May, I was curious about whether there is any update for June / early July.
Many thanks in advance and keep up the great work ![]()
Hi,
Yes a release for july is planned. Since there were not too many changes in June, we have skipped this release for now - we also did not have too much time last month
out of curiosity - could this separation have affected firmware thatās part of Intelās sound card package? I own a ZXR and at some point a while back it just stopped working (it had been working fine) - channels mapping gets messed up
the chipsetās called a CA0132 and it included as part of Intel HDA firmware
I am a bit confused by reading through this topic.
Do I have to do do this steps or not? Or, how can I find out, if I have to do it?
This thread is from almost a year ago.
If your install is newer than that then nothing here applies.
Or put another way .. if your system is upgradable and does not exhibit specific nvidia firmware errors blocking upgrades like
linux-firmware-nvidia: /usr/lib/firmware/nvidia/ad103 exists in filesystem
then nothing here applies.
Again this happened almost a year ago .. does this actually fit?
It should not have been affected by anything here.
All that happened was a reorganization of packages - if you are using linux-firmware you are/were/will-be installing all the firmware packages so what is in which package called what should not really matter.
And these minor changes and/or possible need for manual intervention related to them all happened 11+ months ago now.
It should no longer be pertinent to anyone.
Oh thanks I didnāt see the dateā¦.
