I am a native Scot who found Garuda Linux (and overall Linux Gaming support) so good two years ago it got me permanently away from Windows. Despite that being my fourth attempt in the last couple of decades to break across to Linux I still consider myself a Linux novice though I have learned quite a bit in the last two, enough to take the leap across to CachyOS!

Other than all that, I’m a friendly, writerly soul with:

• Strong opinions
• An abiding hatred for anyone seeking to cause, or causing, harm to others
• A lifelong love of tech and gaming
• An incurable sci-fi addiction
• An irreverent sense of humour and an often bone-dry wit.
