Zram device is smaller then zram thinks it is

I’ve been using CachyOS even before public release, another Developer wanted me to take a peek at it with ZFS, on the same specs I have currently I was also faced with memory locks, and sudden shutdowns or reboots.
All new Hardware here so no issues on that front, but adding that line to /fstab did help.

But since that early occurrence maybe things were fixed along the way IJDK
But that line in /fstab has remained with zero issues. And yes I know it was or is loaded in the kernel, but…It seems not always on some systems.

And the fact the OP had a very new to me error on “free --lohi” remains an issue in my view.

unfortunately I only get a wildcard error
fish: No matches for wildcard ‘free --lohi’. See help wildcards-globbing.

Anyway waiting to hear from @Dingens if it helps

@Sunda-Spirit No one disagreed with your reply, merely a workaround that worked for me.

Unfortunately it did not help
sometimes the games crash just like that sometimes with directx errors and sometimes it starts to stutter as soon as i do something with the mouse or keyboard and normalizes when i don’t make any inputs
sometimes steam restarts after a game crashes
Mouse & Keyboard input cause games to drop fps after a while

i have hardly any experience with linux and still have to search for the simplest command lines on the net.
maybe it was my mistake but your two statements sounded contradictory to me.
But you can break it down to this:
i have problems with my system i can try to fix it or reinstall the system
and someone has tried to solve my problem and I can see if it works or not.
Now I’m just back to reinstall the system

Thank you for your reply,
We have very close Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics
GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Mobile

It was worth a shot

Don’t worry, everything is fine😎

Zero Worries here…I never sweat the small stuff.

We have something in common.
