I’m making my way through various distros and CachyOS would be my choice going forward. But I have an issue with wine.
I tried a couple (arch based, always KDE Plasma 6) distros before and always installed one specific windows software (adobe digital editions) with wine. In all other distros, installing the software would create a desktop icon and would link the specific file type/extension to this windows software. I could open the *.acsm file right from Firefox or Dolphin with the associated windows program.
Doing the same windows setup on CachyOS does not add all the desktop and file association stuff.
And I wonder why? Whats the difference regarding wine, compared to other distros?
thanks
