Could have been some issue that required manual intervention but was properly fixed with some package update?

The file seems odd though - I dont have it and no package provides any such file.
The path (/var/lib/sddm/.config/) would require privileges to augment though.

So when I said it was hallucinating .. it wasnt just hyperbole or something .. it was in response to it giving confident but incorrect answers right here in this exchange.
