6 months in, no breakage except one little panic attack after trying some github project that had me reverting back one Snapper snapshot.
So far, Cachy seems rock solid to me. My only gripe at the moment is that wine > 1.18-1.1 breaks Noita (so I currently added it to IgnorePkg, knowing very well that this is bad practice) but that is hardly a Cachy problem. Apart from that, I witnessed no serious trouble 
, but I am very reluctant with AUR and Github projects and generally treat my OS as if I’m walking on thin ice because I’m still such a noob.
Edit: I guess Arch is not everybody’s cup of tea so ultimately it might be better for some people to try a different distro. For example I use Tuxedo OS on my laptop because 1. I failed to install Cachy on it , 2. I need it to reliably wake up from sleep (which seems not always to work with Cachy), 3. I don’t need bleeding edge software on a 5 year old machine and 4. I prefer less maintenance on that laptop. But these are my subjective and personally set goals which may vary for others.
