[TOO MUCH] Newbie, would be grateful for some help with my hybrid Intel and Nvidia card setup

Hey there,

I’m quite new to using Arch, but I’ve had the chance to gather some experience on some Ubuntu distros. Loving Cachy very much and everything is working flawlessly, except for I’m having some issues with my Nvidia and Intel cards.

I’m not even sure if there’s a higher, more underlying issue, but this is my output from vainfo:

vainfo
Trying display: wayland
vaInitialize failed with error code -1 (unknown libva error),exit

After now spending hours of research as to which drivers are needed, I’m close to giving up.

If anybody has some advice for me, I’d be very happy.

EDIT: The mother of stupidity is always pregnant. Just missed the sudo my gosh. Solved :smile:
