On handheld ROG ally z1e non X, when switching to Desktop, it goes black and it can last several minutes. Sometime clicking a button or taping the screen does good but not always.
Any idea ?
I get this too. I’m using an LCD Steamdeck so it’s not device related. FWIW I don’t get this if I’m running permanent decktop mode with steamos-session-select plasma-persistent but that isn’t exactly “fixing” the issue, just burying it. Also then I have to switch back to gamemode via command line.
As a hint of where to start looking for a fix (if anyone reading is wanting to do that), I get a similar hitch when using that steamos-session-select command. Maybe that’s related.
