It did fix it for me yes.
And my computer isn’t freezing randomly for about 20 seconds at a time on the previous driver.
Just now I have tried the newer 595 driver and it’s the same as the first one. So I’m going back to 580 again, using this command I got from another thread:
sudo pacman -S linux-cachyos-headers nvidia-580xx-dkms nvidia-580xx-utils lib32-nvidia-580xx-utils nvidia-580xx-settings opencl-nvidia-580xx lib32-opencl-nvidia-580xx
