Scaling interface (icons, fonts and window decorations at once) in i3 or OpenBox

Guys, I’m desperately trying to upscale the desktop interface in CachyOS OpenBox. I need to upscale by 200% or 300%, at least. Nothing works. I’ve tried everything: gtkrc-2.0 , xrandr --dpi , fonts size in openbox config. All is ignored! Only GDK_SCALE works, but it does not apply to the desktop. I’m visually impaired to read small text on the 3200x1800 monitor, please help me to find a working solution.

Actually, it does not work in i3 session either.

The only session which is capable of scaling is Gnome, but it has its own tools for that.

So, is desktop scaling broken in all CachyOS sessions, except Gnome, and perhaps KDE?

I don’t use i3, but try this answer from here x11 - How do I scale i3 window manager for my HiDPI display? - Unix & Linux Stack Exchange
