Please see above issue, this is still happening on kernel 6.12, it isn’t stable and causes amd driver to crash alot when using vrr (not sure if without vrr it’s completely fixed either).
I have tried 6.13 and while the driver no longer crashes, there is now annoying stutters in game instead of full crashes
While that certainly is an option, it’s unlikely that we will adopt back 6.6 as the LTS kernel (we would need to push an epoch too). Arch is also going for 6.12 LTS soon (it’s in testing) and looking at the thread, someone is bisecting the kernel and they are almost there in terms of finding the first bad commit.
