First of all, i’m very stupid in Linux issues. I’m learning every day, but i’m a very basic user.
Well. I purchase the game and tried to run it. The problem was the textures (The 90% of textures not visible). I see in protondb that I can install amdvk and with some command parametters, that works!!! And the Games runned well.
But…I shutted down the Lenovo Legion Go and I tried to boot again and the sceeen was Black. Something with AMD driver I supposed that doesnt works fine with Steam client. I reinstalled the entire system.
Well…what happen? It’s possible to install that thing…amdvk without Broke all?
My native language is spanish, and You are talking with a very stupid person. Please. Help!!!
Is new release , so have you tried run the game not with Steam native client but with Runtime one?
Had similar issue with Assassin Creed : Odyssey, on Native and with Runtime worked perfect until Proton-Ge version support it .
When a new game release, always try to run it with Proton-Experimental. For example Jedi:Survivor Steam ‘forcing’ download the Experimental version so run on Linux.
I hope It helps.
@JCAV Ask someone here like @naim or whoever has AMD to provide a working amdvk installation on cachyos. They seem to be more active on discord though.
It has been fixed in the mesa side in the main branch. Some of the fixes are queued for 24.3.2 already and I’m also making efforts to backport them now. I’m just unsure if the commits that are queued for 24.3 are sufficient or are the other commits from main necessary for a full fix.
